Meow Meow City

I brought The Fiancee and his family for a tour of Kuching city last weekend. They loved the local simple delicacies like those kolo mee as well as the laksa sarawak. We went to the handcraft shops which stretched to as long as 3 blocks of all those kind of shops in front of Waterfront. His mom enjoyed the shopping because she's into antiques and owns an antique shop back in her place.

We strolled too along the Waterfront where coincidentally an expo of Malaysian Product was on. We had a quick walk at each exhibition booth. And of course lots of photo moment. :) But our walk was quickly interrupted by a heavy rainpour that we had to cancel our plan of chilling at Waterfront for the rest of the day.

The Fiancee then drove us to The Spring Mall ( Me being a living GPS and navigator, of course :) ). Had our early dinner at the food court inside. Good FOOD!! Seriously!..All them started to compliment about the mall, of how the shopping mall management obviously put their extra touch on anything in the mall..... Until .....

Then his sister and brother came and complained about the same thing, with additional of no tissue, no hose pipe in the toilet cubicle and the dryer wasn't working...

"Such a waste for a nice and exquisite place like this to have restrooms with inadwquate facilities. I mean, come on. You've put this place into something lavish and beautiful, the least you could do is to maintain the hygiene and facilities in its toilet," his sister fussed. I silently disagree. I went afterwards to the toilet, so called to validate the statement, to such dismay, it was true..

Such sickening and sad..... A nice place, but couldn't maintain the toilet well....

Ever been to Ikea toilet? one of the example of what a toilet should be equipped with...
