When Boss Yells...

I miss the days when my superior yelled at me for his attitude of being a boss(for no solid reason, seriously...). I'd later walk out of his room, knowing it's time for yet another gossipping( and cursing) time as well and, of course, started to work my ass on whatever ridiculous task he had assigned me to do. It's good sometimes though, because with that you will understand more about his attitude at workplace..I didn't last long though. Hahahhaa.. (why the heck did I mention about understandiing him at the first place....bleurrrgghhh!hahah)

Been almost 3 years since I left that kind of working scenario...I resigned from the company, , hopped from a private sector to government.. totally different environment for me.. I was an auditee last time, and now I get to be an auditor for premises..hahaha.. watta switch of role...Perhaps I should tell you about my experience of working at a chicken slaughtering plant in future post huh?....

Anyway, back to my story.... which happened this morning..

"Dee, Boss is asking you to be present at his office room"

"Now??" " Yes"

*******

I got scolded for the first time by this new boss ( He joined the department a month ago....and well, he has the reputation of being stern, and ermmm scary). I've never been scolded by my other previous bosses ever since I entered this department. ..He pointed out his points, I tried to defend myself, but he then shut me up with words.I could feelmy cheeks went burning hot, my ears were salsaing spice... Somehow, after a while,I managed to smile at him after his sarcastic remarks to me in front of 3 others colleagues. He surprisingly return my smile, adding "Dee, go find the real deal about this matter and please clarify the procedure with them all. Including to the factory involved.. And you," he pointed his finger to my colleagues," don't simply assume stuff. Thank God I went pretty humble by simply saying I can't say much because I need to refer back the procedure. (one of the reason why he almost yelled at me.. )

But funny as it may sound, I didn't really feel as embarrassed as I was 3 years ago Maybe it's because I've been through worse than that with previous boss... What doesn't kill you, well, it does makes you stronger.

21.12.2012 ...Movie 2012

Have you guys watch this movie? .. I actually just finished watching this movie in cinema like 3 hours ago. My God.. you all has GOT to watch this movie. 2012 is directed by Roland Emmerich and comprises of some famous actors like John Cusack ( I fell in love with his acting after Running Jury), Amanda Peet and Thandie Newton.

This movie is about the earth's Dooms Day which is on 21 December 2012. Whatever you may think of how our Doom's Day is gonna be like, it's all that or much worse. I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride thoughout the entire movie, screaming and kept saying OMG(and shiiitttt :P). Dunno if I can handle it well if it had been a 3D movie..There's lots of sad moment and sad goodbyes as well..I seriously tahan my airmata.. My brain immediately went to my-family-is-everything mode. What if 21.12.12 is really the day when Mother Earth expires?.. Am I really prepared to meet my Maker?.. Death is inevitable, of course. But often at times, we just need more time.....

Anyway, I don't want to be a spoiler here. If you haven't watch the movie, go watch!! :) Then tell me what you think about it alright?

Till then!

Chilli (as in vegetable! :) ) Lover!!

I don't know if you know this tip, but am glad to share with avid chillies eaters out there .. :) To prolong the shelf life of chillies that you bought in supermarket or wet market, it's very simple. Put them in a container and then into the freezer compartment in your fridge. Of course the chillies will be in a frozen form. And so to consume it, just thaw it back..it's that easy! eheee.

This way, the chilli can last up to 3 to 4 months.. I kid you not! Wanna see the chilli stock I've been keeping since last August? The reason why I keep the stock for quite some time is because I don't really cook at home. Even if I do, I'll be cooking for myself, or at most for 2 persons.. :(

Here's the picture...

Lucky Bloggers..

Some bloggers I noticed are very lucky. They get a chance to meet big time people, or free food sampling or products. Sometimes, I wish I have a glimpse of taste of those experience. From my own initiative... not accompanying the person who were invited or something..

Anyway, sometimes, something are not meant to be. And I guess I'm fine with it. I love reading the blog of those.... Especially bloggers like Daniel and Cyril.

Happy 40th, Sesame Street!!!

These muppets put my cranky morning mood to a smiley mode when I clicked Google.com this morning. I literally grew up with Sesame Street. I love Ernie and Bert, Cookie Monster and the Dracula! I love how the show taught on alphabets and numbers...
"can you tell me how to get.. how to get to sesame street.. how to get to sesame street......." aaaaa.....
Happy 40th, Sesame Street!!! You rock!!

Meow Meow City

I brought The Fiancee and his family for a tour of Kuching city last weekend. They loved the local simple delicacies like those kolo mee as well as the laksa sarawak. We went to the handcraft shops which stretched to as long as 3 blocks of all those kind of shops in front of Waterfront. His mom enjoyed the shopping because she's into antiques and owns an antique shop back in her place.

We strolled too along the Waterfront where coincidentally an expo of Malaysian Product was on. We had a quick walk at each exhibition booth. And of course lots of photo moment. :) But our walk was quickly interrupted by a heavy rainpour that we had to cancel our plan of chilling at Waterfront for the rest of the day.

The Fiancee then drove us to The Spring Mall ( Me being a living GPS and navigator, of course :) ). Had our early dinner at the food court inside. Good FOOD!! Seriously!..All them started to compliment about the mall, of how the shopping mall management obviously put their extra touch on anything in the mall..... Until .....

The Fiancee and his siblings excused themselves to the restroom nearby. The Fiance came to me 3 minutes later, complaining about no liquid dispenser or any soap available at handwashing area. Then his sister and brother came and complained about the same thing, with additional of no tissue, no hose pipe in the toilet cubicle and the dryer wasn't working...

"Such a waste for a nice and exquisite place like this to have restrooms with inadwquate facilities. I mean, come on. You've put this place into something lavish and beautiful, the least you could do is to maintain the hygiene and facilities in its toilet," his sister fussed. I silently disagree. I went afterwards to the toilet, so called to validate the statement, to such dismay, it was true..

Such sickening and sad..... A nice place, but couldn't maintain the toilet well....

Ever been to Ikea toilet? one of the example of what a toilet should be equipped with...
