We strolled too along the Waterfront where coincidentally an expo of Malaysian Product was on. We had a quick walk at each exhibition booth. And of course lots of photo moment. :) But our walk was quickly interrupted by a heavy rainpour that we had to cancel our plan of chilling at Waterfront for the rest of the day.
The Fiancee then drove us to The Spring Mall ( Me being a living GPS and navigator, of course :) ). Had our early dinner at the food court inside. Good FOOD!! Seriously!..All them started to compliment about the mall, of how the shopping mall management obviously put their extra touch on anything in the mall.....
Until .....The Fiancee and his siblings excused themselves to the restroom nearby. The Fiance came to me 3 minutes later, complaining about no liquid dispenser or any soap available at handwashing area. Then his sister and brother came and complained about the same thing, with additional of no tissue, no hose pipe in the toilet cubicle and the dryer wasn't working...
"Such a waste for a nice and exquisite place like this to have restrooms with inadwquate facilities. I mean, come on. You've put this place into something lavish and beautiful, the least you could do is to maintain the hygiene and facilities in its toilet," his sister fussed. I silently disagree. I went afterwards to the toilet, so called to validate the statement, to such dismay, it was true..
Such sickening and sad..... A nice place, but couldn't maintain the toilet well....
Ever been to Ikea toilet? one of the example of what a toilet should be equipped with...
Rugi la... the spring is a nice place... but toilet mmg hancusss!!!! Like you said... no tissue, no hose pipe... and the toilet does not look its the toilet for the spring mall...

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the "Tandas Bersih, Negara Maju" Motto in Malaysia? hehe.. Such a shame! Putting a good mall to waste with the bad toilet conditions!
I'm guessing they ran ut of those stuff...
ReplyDeletebut that's not an excuse cause the mall management should be ready for an influx of patrons on weekends.
Sad truth about theSpring. but anyway, I only window shop there. Even my fav brand, Padini is still quite pricey. Dont know why other outlets of Padini is alot cheaper.
Meda: really? i should read that entry of yrs too..
ReplyDeleteSunshine : The motto? Flushed down into the sewage plant, i guess. hehehehe
Cyril : I hope The Spring management team take good care of MBO. It's a nice place, and i don't want to see it looks like it's an old crappy place after a year.. that's sad..
